howdy, all. i'm an ms-iv. this past weekend i picked up a honkin' and expen$ive copy of adams and victor's principles of neurology. i'm probably going into psych, so i figured i'll need to bone up on my neuroscience... but it's not too late to return it if it'll be too much for me. what's the concensus on this text? any other (better) ones i could scope out? thanks in advance! 🙂

If it was me, I'd return it and just get the new edition of "Clinical Neurology" by Aminoff, et al.

Cons: Less depth, less impressive sitting on your shelf.

Pros: You might actually read it, good coverage on many topics, writted at student/resident level, much cheaper, will fit in your locker for quick reference during residency.
