Hi -

I suppose I'm inquiring for some scheduling advice. I'm currently enrolled in organic chemistry with concurrent lab along with a "recommended" honors bio sequence next fall, amongst other courses that have no need of mentioning. The thing is, I'm really not sure if I'd want to take two such serious science classes together, as there is an easier biology sequence available. I realize that the honors bio would probably be more practical for the material that will be covered on the MCAT; however, I'm a biology major and I don't feel like I will have a paucity of biology material covered if I instead take the slightly easier, yet still 200 level, biology courses.

tl; dr;
Should I take ochem + honors bio, or ochem + normal bio, and the decision made with respect to my major: biology?

Thanks in advance.

honors classes really are not worth it in my opinion, its more work and med school wont even take notice to it. They'd rather you have an A in gen bio than a B+ in honors bio. At least thats what I think

Two questions:

Are you in the honors program?
Do you need this honors bio class to eventually graduate with honors?

If the answer to either of those questions is no, then take the regular bio course.

Thanks for your input.

The answer is no to both. I've made my decision.

Thanks much guise.
