1. I'm driving a red convertible with friends. Usually crusing along..then I go down a hill... then when I start to go up the hill, suddenly I'm pedalling... and it gets harder and harder. And I yell at my friends...c'mon guys help me pedal.

2. I'm walking in to take a final exam. Then I realize I have skipped the entire semester and I have to ace the exam to get a C. I start to wonder if I can drop the class...then I take the test and I don't know any answers.

And I just had a weird dream last night...and I hope it doesn't recur. I receive a check for $20,000... a student loan check. And it's for the first semester of P3... I do a quick math...and think OMG... that's $80,000 until I graduate... which is a lot more than my actual student loan amount... I keep thinking this is weird...I thought I was done with my loans...

Saving up for the kids yet?

I don't have recurring nightmares, but I do have recurring good dreams 😉

Kids are on their own... j/k.. they got a nice 529 going.

You can't say you have good dreams and not share.

Had a similar dream as your #1 (except substitute "red convertible" with "white sports coupe") 😉

Also had a few those "skipped class/totally unprepared for the exam" dreams, too.

No comment about the third one ... haven't had one of those.

Here's what www.dreammoods.com says about the first two ...

To dream that you are driving a vehicle, signifies your life's journey and your path in life. To dream that you are climbing a hill, signifies your struggles in achieving a goal. The dream is telling of how you are moving and navigating through life. To dream that you drive off a mountain road, suggests that the higher you climb in life, the harder it is to stay at the top. You feel that your advanced position is a precarious one. It takes hard work to remain at the top. You may also feel that you are not able to measure up to the expectations of others.

To dream that you are taking an exam, indicates that you are being put to the test or being scrutinized in some way. These dreams usually have to do with your self-esteem and confidence or your lack of. You are worried that you are not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations of you. You may also experience the fear of not being accepted, not being prepared, or not being good enough.

These dreams also suggest that you may feel unprepared for a challenge. Rarely, are these dreams about the content of the test, but rather the process and how you are feeling during the exam taking process. Generally, you feel distressed and frustrated. These feelings may parallel how you are feeling in a particular challenge or situation in your waking like.

Dreams of this nature are also an indication that you are being judged and this dream is a signal for you to examine an aspect of yourself that you may have been neglecting and need to pay attention to. You may harbor some guilt because of your neglect in preparation for a school exam, meeting, business project, or some challenge. Most of the time, though, people who have such dreams are unlikely to fail a test in real life. This dream goes back to their fear and own anxiety that they may not meet other's standards of them. They are afraid to let others down.

Interesting...

I don't buy any of that "what dreams mean" stuff. It's just your brain running disk defragger, erasing the unneeded crap, and keeping the important stuff.

Cruising downhill in a red sports car = life is good and you've got it made.
Having to pedal it uphill when your friends are suddenly not supportive when not receiving a free ride = tragedy my friend. You're in for rough times...at least that's what my crystal ball says.

The same interpretation goes for skipping class all semester and then paying the price later.

Then the student loan thing is just nuts, but obviously it means you're about to invest in some great stock with all your eggs in one basket...and then it'll be Enron all over again and you'll start asking WVU if he has a small extra room you can rent for $150/mo.

Look at the bright side, maybe he'll let you wear his new sweater from time to time.
