hey all. does anyone know if recycling your personal statement is a good idea? i spent alot of time on it and its pretty dam good 😛 . i also don't know if i can add anything current to it since i applied around Sept of last year (took August MCAT) and just graduated last fall. I didn't do anything this semester but focus on retaking the MCAT, and i am just about to start a lab job... any ideas?

When I was at Georgetown's SMP openhouse last week, this question came up. One of the program's directors said that if you think you have a good personal statement, then certainly keep it. Just update it a little to reflect what you've been doing in the mean time.
