Well, just got my vasectomy today... whee! 😎 Thinking of picking up Red Faction: Armageddon for Xbox from Redbox. I've never played any of those games before... anybody have any experience with this game? I'm a big first person shooter fan, it's between this, Homefront and Duke Nukem Forever (just because I was a huge Duke Nukem 3D fan back in the day).

Anybody have any comments?

Duke Nukem Forever reviews are mediocre at best. Despite of, or perhaps because of, how long it was in development, it is new and already looks and plays as if it were dated.

COD 3 will be good, but expect little innovation.

The new battlefield game had people working YEARS on the Frostbite engine, should be bettter than new COD.

In the meantime,don't forget Rage and of course Skyrim.

I ended up going with Red Faction: Armaggedon... It seemed to be the best option that was available in redboxes around me. It was alright. I just did the solo game, which I beat in a little under 2 days. I liked the ability to destroy, as well as repair, all of the buildings... that added another dimension to the game play.

I'm a little bummed by the reviews/online videos of Duke Nukem Forever. I was a huge Duke 3d fan "back in the day". 😀

I can't wait for the new modern warfare, though. I've REALLY enjoyed black ops.

I'm kicking myself for not picking up Portal 2 when it was $30 at Target... that game looks awesome!
