Hi all,

I am thinking of dropping one of the classes I am taking right now because I do not need it to graduate, but i will receive a W and then I will have 5 W's total in undergrad...Should I drop it? or keep it?

Ugh... well, don't drop it if you don't have to. If the W's were spaced out, it won't look too bad, but especially during your final year or so, you want to get as few W's as possible. I had 6 and it didn't come up at my interviews - but you don't want to shoot yourself in the foot.

Do you have a good reason for dropping the class? If you think you're going get a C, maybe, but other than that, I wouldn't drop it this late in the game.

Well, I did ok on the midterm but the final really scares us. There is a high possibility that I will be end up a B- or so if I could not do good on the final I believe. I just dont want to risky myself into this. so, what you think

Don't withdraw if you think your going to end up with a B-. I heard a couple W's are ok but if asked about them in your interview and your reasoning for withdrawing was because you thought you were going to get a B-, that might not sit well with them. In the grand scale of things a B- isn't that bad. Good luck with your decision.
