Regarding Marquette interviews

I have been checking my AADSAS applciation status online for hte last three months.

Marquette has posted a message stating that all interviews before December 1st has been granted.

Does this mean that there are no interviews left? The message continues to state that the admissions office or committee, will decide whether there will be more interview slots available.

So if there are no slots available, will they reject me?

Oh well, I guess that means a rejection from Marquette coming my way.

It's my damn 2nd DAT score that probably held my application from being reviewed. ADA people got mixed up and sent all my designated schools the wrong batch of DAT score. Now I'm screwed. 👎

I think you are right. As a private school, Marquette feels that to get good applicants they need to steal them by accelerating the process. They will tie up any loose ends in January, but the majority of the work will be done by then.

MU doesn't need to "steal" good applicants, if you are interested in clinical and like the idea of a great education in top of the line (new in 03) facilities you can't do better.

I was just repeating what Brian Trecek has told me. So yeah, being in Milwaukee, and being pretty expensive, they do have to steal people.

marquette's a great school. they do send out initial invites on dec. 1 but they do have some interviews after that. your best bet is if you have already gotten one, but they do interview a few late apps (from my understanding)...but i think you need pretty good stats to get one.

I think it’s a great program too. It is defiantly my #1 choice, we will see if Dec. 1st is good to me.
