regarding retaking classes

hey guys
quick question- when you retake a course to get into dental school, does it replace the original grade you got in the class or does it just show up as another course (allowing them to see your original grade in the class as well). How does this weigh into the gpa that they calculate for you? thanks.

don't quote me on this but from what i remember, i think they factor both grades into their calculations

The AASDAS application system takes both of your grades and computes the GPA, which sucks but oh well.
