Is it better to fly to the school the night before and stay at a hotel or fly there the morning of the interview to conserve cost? The latter scenario runs the risk of flight delays, rental problems, etc. but seems cheaper.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I was not in this situation, however, I would think to ease the stress and reduce the chance of problems, flying in the night before is better.

Good call. That's what I'll do. It helps having friends/family in the area to stay with.

Hotels are crazy expensive in major cities these days. 😱
