Hey guys...I applied to these 2 colleges abt a month ago but i still havent received any confirmation from them that my application has been received by their office....is there anyone out here who applied to them and have received any notification from them......i e-mailed them as well still dint get any response from them...i was thinking of calling them up but thought of asking u guys first....

UCLA contact number is 310-825-9789 i called them but they said that they will start reviewing applications in the next couple of weeks and will send e-mails to applicants and will let them know the status of applications. till now they haven't opened the applications.so wait for couples of weeks.

UCSF contact number is 415-476-5758 call Jean she will let u know the status of ur application.if shez not in the office leave a message including ur name and phone number she will return ur call.

Hi Dental doc80, In the application forms of california schools, they asked to write the sop in the pages provided by them. But, my sop is more than 1 page. Do I have to concise it or I can submit it with an extra page..?

well try keepin it as much precise as u can since they have to review so many applications but in case it's 1-2 paragraphs more i dont think that will affect ur application in a bad way.....as for me i finished mine in exact 1 page....had to edit it a lot but i managed to do it....
