Regional differences in FM programs?

Can anyone throw some light on the major differentiating factors in practice of family medicine different regions in the US? I am most interested in the Midwest( Wisconsin in particular), West and maybe South-West for future practice.

Can someone tell me about pros/cons of these regions?
