Hi,
I am a current CA-2 and am thinking about a regional fellowship. I am an american MD grad, passed all 3 steps, did horribly on my in training exam as a first year (ie 2 weeks into anesthesia residency), worked my tail off and did very well on my last ITE. I think I can get decent letters of Rec.
What are the better regional fellowships in the Northeast, and am I competitive? My program is very strong in regional, but we don't do much ultrasound, so I would be very interested to know which fellowships us a lot of ultrasound.
In particular, comments about Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC and Boston programs.
