Hey kids--I've found that some programs offer virtually no regional exposure. Other programs offer a month or two. Some directors and chairs claim that regional is rarely used in the outside/private world b/c slower, more morbidity, etc. Wondering what people think about the importance of regional training when considering a residency program. Most CA-3s that I talk to wish that they had more blocks under their belts. Will I be more marketable coming out of a regional intensive program like Virginia Mason or Duke? Thanks.
