Regrets about DDS/DMD?

Any DDS/DMD students that have regrets about studying dentistry?

• is the profession what you thought it would be like when you finished?
• are you struggling to find work in the city where you practice?
• any regrets whatsoever (i.e. do you wish you went to med school instead)?
• are there things about dentistry you wish you knew before you entered dental school?

Also, if you feel the complete opposite, or if you are a med school student please share your post-professional school experiences.

I wish I had know that it would be really hard on my back. Would have kept exercising then.🙁
And not eaten to deal with stress, then gained all the weight 😡

Every clinical procedure I do has my signature on it. That's rewarding enough to know that my patients show off their dentistry to their family and friends.
