Reinventor School List Help (2.78 uGPA, 3.98 SMP GPA, 521 MCAT)

ORM that finished undergrad with a 2.78 GPA in 2017. Did Georgetown SMP last year and finished with 3.98 GPA. Four MCAT scores: 496->513->510->521, 521 taken 8/26/21. 3 time reapplicant to only MD schools, next cycle will be my 4th cycle. Clinical experience over 1000 hours, mostly working as a scribe. Non-clinical experience around 250 hours, split between food bank and homeless shelter. Research hours will be 1400 by the time of this next application cycle. Shadowing around 250 hours. No letter from DO but do have two from MDs.

For the MD schools besides TMDSAS, I based it on schools that emphasize either the most recent or highest MCAT as well as schools on Goro's list that are reinventor friendly. Not really sure about Hofstra, Duke, and Pitt, added because my latest MCAT and research hours but just seems non-sensical and considering replacing them with lower tier schools.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I presume you are a Texas resident. Any help from Georgetown about submitting to TMDSAS and the other schools on your list, aside from the program evaluation letter?

Did Your advisor at Georgetown SMP give you any indication why you weren’t accepted to the med school or was that rejection before the SMP? You don’t say but I’m assuming you are from Texas?

I am a Texas resident. I received the interview during the SMP year. When I reached out to the program advisors after the Georgetown decision, I was basically told they aren't on the admissions committee so they really have no idea what was discussed. I have reached out to the program advisors for help a few times since about things like personal statement feedback, secondary, etc. and my last email went unreplied so I guess they've given up on me :/

I’m sorry. I don’t know a lot about SMPS but you’d think the SMP schools would be helpful and want to get you in a school.

As a Texas resident, SMPs are not calculated into the TMDSAS GPAs correct? If not, you will need to put the SMP GPA in your PS or in one of the other questions on the TMDSAS app to get Texas schools to be aware of it.

What is your TMDSAS cGPA and sGPA? I would behoove you to get a DO letter and apply to both TCOM (DO Letter required) and Sam Houston State (unsure if DO letter required).

Your best shot with the info you presented (GPA-wise) to TMDSAS schools is likely TCOM and Sam Houston right now.
