The University of Louisville School of Dentistry does not offer an advanced placement program for dentists trained in programs that are not accredited by the American Dental Association. Foreign trained graduates are considered for admission only if they have earned a minimum of 32 hours of science-related course credit in the U.S. or Canada, demonstrate proficiency in the English language, and meet all standard admission requirements. Admission is considered on a case-by-case basis into the first year class only. All foreign trained dental school graduates are required to complete the entire 4-year DMD curriculum of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Priority is given to foreign trained graduates who have obtained resident status in the State of Kentucky
