Has anyone who has received a rejection e-mailed or called the school to ask why? I feel like I'm the only one who's gotten rejected and I'm not sure how to go about finding out the reasons why so that I can possibly fix them if I have to reapply next year.

It wouldn't hurt to call the school and ask exactly that..."could you tell me why I was rejected so I can strengthen my application for next year". The worst they can say is No.

I have been waitlisted for an interview and if I don't get one I will definitely be contacting the school to set up a meeting in which to go over my application and learn what areas I can strengthen for the next cycle. I think it shows strong initiative and a commitment to the profession.
