I was wondering if you must be a previously rejected applicant to apply to any of the post bac programs, I know you can apply directly to some SMP's like Georgetown and NYMC, but how about the rest? And where can I find more info on Ros Franklin Post bacs? I can't find the site.

Most SMPs and SMP-type programs do not require that you've been rejected before. I know one exception is Tulane's Anatomy Certification Program. There are also some undergrad-level postbac enhancement programs that only accept re-applicants.

No you do not have to be rejected to apply to post bacc programs. I don't know the specific link to the RF program, however there are plently of threads in this forum regarding that subject so it won't be so hard to find.

Tulane's Anatomy Certification Program (ACP) requires waitlist status at an accredited U.S. medical school before you can apply, but this is the only one that I am aware of which has such a requirement.

sgulati's post is more clear than my previous post. 😳 To be eligible for the Tulane Anatomy Certification program you need to be waitlisted. You don't have to be rejected at the time of application to the ACP, but you do need to be on a waitlist. The one thing I'm not sure about is whether this means US MD-only or both US DO and US MD. Of course, if you get off a waitlist, chances are you won't have to do the ACP program.
