can you be rejected from a school before you take the dat? i got emails from schools saying that they would hold my application for review until they received my dat scores.

thanks for response, it just sucks that i got the letter at 6:30 friday night and i cant do anything until monday. especially since i am taking the dat on wednesday next week. this is awful.

Yeah, had it happen before. One of my schools were already full, so it didn't matter what my grades were.

Nope. You were prolly rejected because they had wayyy more apps that were complete and didn't feel like waiting for you. Also, schools can do whatever they want in screening apps.

When you take the DAT, make sure you contact the school, and ask them whether you can fax the unofficial DAT score, so they can begin reviewing your application. My friend did that way last year. Some school might not allow it, but most will.
