I am going to start volunteering in a rehab-focused hospital. I was offered two different positions after I told that volunteer coordinator that I'd like a position related to PT. The first has me helping out in the fitness room and the second has me helping out on the track.
I'm under the impression that these two positions are better suited for someone who is interested in exercise science rather than PT, but I could be wrong (I know that there's overlap between PTs and exercise therapists, especially with rehabbing individuals). I was just wondering whether this would be appropriate experience for someone who wants to study PT? FWIW, I believe I'm directly responsible to an exercise therapist, not a PT.
Thanks😀
