On MCAT test day...when and where shouuld i say that i want to send my scores to AACOMAS AND AAMCAS? what if i get my scores back 2 months later and i realize that i didnt do so well and decide to take it in august?

How would the fact that i released my undesireable scores in april on test day affect me if i decide to take the mcat again in august?

Thanks

OK here goes.

From what I know, I believe that some MD schools require that you release your scores, or it looks very unfavorable on you. I don't think it matters for DO schools. I released my scores and didn't do too hot in April, so I retook it in August and released them again. I knew when I walked out of my test in April that I didn't do too well but I still released them. I think it shows the admissions committee that you aren't ashamed of your scores when you release them, and if you retake them then it looks like you are determined or head a headache the first time.

Oh yeah, it's been awhile but I think the AACOMAS code is 200. Your proctor will tell all of you where to designate to release your scores.

Good Luck!
