You have to like download the compressed file, then decompress the file, and install the software. Doesn't actually take very long, but it was more complicated than I was expecting.
How's the scoring like? Is it like the NBME exams where they'll give you a projected score? Or is it just a way to get used to the FRED interface and a chance to see some questions? (I've heard they were easier than the real ones)

They just give a percentage correct, but you can plug that into medfriends.org for a projected score. And yeah, it's nice to see the actual format and they give you answers at the end. I did see 1 question (or something very similar) that showed up on my actual exam.
