So I asked a professor if he would be willing to write me a lor. He said that he would love to do so, but I would need to repetitively notify him via email. So my question for my fellow pre-dents... What are some creative ways that I could do so in a email?
Thanks.

So much for some creative ideas.... cant you guys close the books for a minute and turn on that creative part of your brains....🙂

How about..."just reminding you to send my letter in , i'm applying this May and believe your letter will be a valuable asset to my application blah blah blah you're the best professor ever. xoxoxoxo yuppers"

how about you just take him a chocolate cake and say "thanks for doing my rec letter!!" (and say it past-tense like that, even though he hasn't done your letter yet)

it works like a charm

Don't do it via email. Go to his office and ask how everything is going...catch him/her in the hall maybe.

or, if you are really desperate, you could be like "so..did you need someone to grade papers for you next semester?" that might get a letter hopping.

but that would so not be fun for you.

maybe just go to his office, chew him out, and scream at him to get it done. lol

same situation here too haha

a few things I should have specified:
1) I dont need to suck up because he agreed was very willing to write me one.
2) he wants reminders (the funnier the better)
3) he is almost never in his office therefore the emails.

But thanks for some ideas.... to bad I cant afford buying cake for him ...🙂
