At the risk of being banned, I agree. She closed a thread in allo because the OP received an answer. The topic was "controversial".

Seriously, how many threads get derailed and drag on for hundreds of posts and are kept open? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Actually, this is a forum that can (and does) set its own rules, so the "free speech" argument isn't valid. You have to register and agree to the rules before posting.

This is not the appropriate way to voice disagreement. Posters can always contact an admin if they have an issue with how things have been handled on the forum. But the above poster is correct - forum mods have leeway as to how to guide conversation on forums. It is not about the actual topic of discussion, more about the manner of said discussion. Closing this thread.
