ok this may sound really silly but i didnt have the best "teachings" for histo at my school.

the ONE thing i always struggle with in renal pathology is the pictures of the glomeruli that they show. Whether its an IF or LM or anything else i can NEVER tell what I am looking at.

anyone else struggle with this or might have a suggestion to cover/learn this better?

thanks for anyone who helps, i really need it!

If you need specific help, let me know. We hit on renal histology really hard. I can't teach everything so let me know specifics.

I have my brother's ross behind me LOL

maybe will grab it someday to read renal chapter. I used junqueira, it's in portuguese and a lot more simple! (but I confess I should have studied it more back in 1st year..)

are there any sites or books you guys can recommend that will help teaching how to look at these pictures.

i need pictures and things labeled on it to be able to understand where and what everything is. its sad i know but i need some serious help on that!

My professors pictures are copyrighted otherwise I'd post them because they were gold. Other than that, the Wheater's Histology atlas has some good stuff in it.

well that just sucks now dont it! lol its ok but thank you I will have to look into some other bigger sources i guess.

also does anyone have any idea where i can get a good write up/explanation for all that electrolyte balance stuff that goes on in the kidney.

BRS physiology has a solid explanation on renal function and RR Path has some gold in it too in fluid and hemodynamics.
