One Bedroom, One (Full) Bathroom, Plus Private Living Room Renovated, and Brand New Basement Apartment with Private Entrance In Waverly Hills, North Arlington.
I am seeking a tenant to rent the basement apartment in my home (which I own) in North Arlington.
I am a 26 year old straight male, working in the medical field in both Northern Virginia, and Washington DC. I'm very active, and enjoy biking, kickball, diving, hiking etc. I keep myself fairly busy between grad school and work, and would like to find someone, male or female, who is roughly the same age with a similar work ethic. I would hope that we would be compatible and friends, and would look forward to grabbing a coffee with you at some point if you are interested in checking the place out.
The apartment itself is brand new and you would be the first person living in it. A virtual tour link for the house is below, however here is my attempt at a description of the place and what is included in the rent.
The basement which would be yours consists of 4 rooms, a private bathroom, a sitting room or living room, a bedroom, and a brand new bathroom with standup tiled shower.
*The bedroom is a nice size and has a closet, recessed lighting, carpeting etc. It is big enough for some bedroom furniture and probably a queen bed, however I think a king would make things too crowded.
*The living room also has recessed lighting, and would make a perfect TV room or office.
*The bathroom as you can see from the pics is also all new, and has really nice fixtures.
*The laundry room which we would share has additional space for storage. In the laundry room you would also have your own full sized refrigerator, and microwave.
While you are welcome to use any entrance, the apartment has its own private entrance in the rear of the house.
Upstairs the main level of the home, which would act as a common area, has a brand new "gourmet" kitchen, large dining and living room, and an insulated sunroom. I myself live on the second floor where I have a little office and my bedroom.
Outdoors, there is plenty of parking, nice neighbors, landscaped front and back yard with bbq grill, and a big backyard.
Location: 20th road North three blocks from Glebe Road, and less than a mile from the Ballston Metro Station. It is also a couple blocks from a nice little shopping mall with a lot of trendy restaurants and a starbucks. Also a couple blocks away is a ART Arlington Transit Bus Stop. Its very central if you work in NOVA or DC, and an easy commute to Tysons as well.
I've rented a lot before and I want to make this arrangement as simple for the two of us as possible. So, for 1200 a month the following is included.

Local Phone
Wireless Internet
Parking
Gas
Electricity
Water
Sewage
Trash Pickup
Tivo on Main Level Television
Bi-Weekly MAID SERVICE
This way we wont have to worry about splitting up the utilities every month, and the maid service will help to keep the place clean for the both of us.
Pets: I will consider pets on a case by case basis. I have a black lab that does not live with me that may visit occasionally, however if you have animals just let me know.
*One other note, I can nicely furnish both the bedroom and living room for you if you need me to for 150$ extra per month.
