I know there's been a lot of questions about grade replacement, and I did read them and have consulted with the AACOMAS instructions. I also spoke to an AACOMAS representative who said they couldn't answer my questions.
I took "molecular biology lecture" (lower division) and "cellular biology lecture" (upper division) in undergrad (quarter system, both 4 units).
My post-bacc program is also on the quarter system, but it only offers "molecular and cell biology lecture" (4 units)...basically combining the two I guess.
Would it be possible to replace EITHER molecular OR cellular from my undergrad with this combined class, or would that not be considered "equal" in terms of the syllabus/material covered? (Please note that I'm not trying to replace both undergrad classes with one post-bacc class, I know that's against the grade replacement policy.)
Also, when you go to fill out AACOMAS with grade replacement, are you allowed to upload the syllabi or somehow let them know that the classes are essentially the same?
Thanks.
