I got an email from Tuft asking for a check to process the application. I got a processing fee receipt form from USC. My AADSAS application got sent out on July 21. For all the schools I haven't received any mail or email, does that mean I didn't even make the first cut? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

AASSAS says to allow 2 weeks after mailing for delivery. That puts you at august 5th-ish. So its possible that they have only possesed your application for a few business days now..I wouldnt worry until after the end of the month.

Right now the adcoms are basically just checking to see if you have everything in. If you are missing any information, send it in ASAP. I would call each of your schools and simply ask if your application is complete. If they tell you yes then you just have to wait to hear from them. Some schools might call you for an interview very soon, some will wait a little while. I would wait a month, and then call all the schools that have not responded by then and ask. Don't fall through the cracks!
