Reputation of Various Internship Programs

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Not familiar enough with Togus or Salem to respond, but the rest all have a good reputation as far as I know (admittedly, not at the internship phase yet). Though like grad school it will of course depend on what exactly your focus is and what you want to get out of it. They are all on the list of places students at my school usually apply/interview/match at.

I've heard good things about Togus VA, Boston Consortium, and Duke (child track) but I agree with Ollie in that it really depends on what you are looking for. Also, internships are tricky in terms of "reputation." I'm hard-pressed to think of any APA-accredited internships that are widely known in a bad way. Prob because they are so hard to come by that people simply appreciate being able to snag a position and get their degree. Also, people have different tolerances for things, like 50+ hr work weeks are a deal breaker for me while others do not mind as much. Your best bet is to try and contact people who have trained there.
