I recently got a D+ in a class that i was retaking for a second time, after withdrawing the first time. I know a C is needed for dental schools. Should I retake the class for a third time? If I do a masters is that necessary?

Which class?

They're average, A's and B's, probably more B's than As

Then your science GPA probably took a big hit. I’d say retake, shoot for an A. If your science GPA is still below 3.2 you should probably look at a SMP. Kind of also depends on your DAT score as a low GPA can be countered by a high DAT. Say 25AA 3.2 sGPA that’s not too bad but 20AA 3.1 sGPA gives you a slim chance.

Retake and get an A. Almost every dental student takes a Biochem course during D1 you should show you can handle it
