Hi,
I just recieved an interview invite at LECOM for April 1st. Trouble is, that date conflicts with personal plans I've already made. I just tried to rescedule for an earlier date but they were booked full.

I know it's routine for people to move sceduled interviews up. What are people's thoughts on moving an interview back? Am I going to be making myself look bad to the school by doing this?

P.S. I know it's late in the year so if anyone has any genuine insight into how full LECOM Erie's class is, I'd appreciate it.

Its already really late in the game. Moving your interview might be the difference between being reviewed for the next incomming class or ending up on a waitlist. LECOM is filling up, in my opinion cancel your plans and go. 🙂

I'm in aggreance with the "earlier is better" theory. Unless you can schedule it for April 2 or something (if that would work for your schedule). I hope your personal plans aren't so big that cancelling them is going to be an ordeal. But if at all possible, I'd cancel your personal plans and make this interview. Of course, if you have an acceptance somewhere else, and LECOM isn't that important to you, I guess you have more options. Good luck with your decision!

I agree

I agree with the others here. By moving your interview you risk someone taking your spot if you are to be accepted and you getting a rejection letter. It is late in the game so I would take what you can now and not try and push the date any further ahead.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I probably am leaning towards cancelling my personal plans and going to the interview on the scheduled date.

If anyone does have any info on how full LECOM Erie's class is, I'd appreciate it.

I just intereviewed there on 3-11, and he didn't give us an indication of how full the class was yet. Maybe someone else got more information at their interview. The students felt if we were interveiwing, then there were slots. I'm getting the impression that LECOM-Erie doesn't interview for waitlists. I don't know that for a fact though.
