Hey Everyone!

I got a C+ in a non prereq plant horticulture class, and it brought my gpa a lil under. I got acceptances into temple, tufts, maryland, meharry, and UF (my state school). Do you think or know for sure they would rescind an acceptance?

Thanx for all ur inputs

Call them! We can't tell you a definitive answer. Personally, I don't think so though as long as your gpa is around the same as it was when you applied or 3.0+.

I would ask the specific school that you are leaning towards, but not all of them if you are set on one. Are you leaning towards a certain program?

yea, UF, tumple and TUFTS...i jus hope i didnt screw dis up. i was traveling to alot of interviews and the semester became hectic

One C+ amongst all A's, no. Depends what your other grades are

2 As and 2 Bs and a Satisfactory grade for aP/F class

Why would they? As long as you're on track for your degree I don't think you have anything to worry about. The acceptance is yours.

This thread comes up every year and then the thread just dies. I'm assuming that's because the student goes on to dental school and doesn't feel the need to post again that they were rejected. Why would it make sense to deny someone based off a C+ when many people get accepted with strings of C+;s.

You should be good, the only thing temple emphasized on interview day was that they didnt want us to cancel 'planned coursework'

I wont' say definitively, but No, most likely you'll be fine. Even a C would probably be fine. Now that your accepted you just need to pass your classes and graduate. (to a certain degree, if you got all c's this semester and all c's next semester they may think twice).

I'm going through a similar situation with A&P I. TBH I just wanted to take the course to stay in "school mode" but between DAT prep and a full time job I fear I might get a C. I just finished my MSc. in August with a General & SCI GPA of 3.98 and total SCI GPA of 3.68. I 've been accepted to Meharry and have an interview at Texas A&M Baylor in Jan. Neither schools require A&P, but I'm worried!

UCSF requires a B- or better or acceptance may be rescinded
