I understand that VCOM has strong research possibilties; can anyone offer any comments/advice/feedback on research currently in progress at the osteopathic medical schools?

Thanks!

I'm aware OUCOM has strong research as well as TCOM and UMDNJ. I haven't heard anything about any others. But I have met some of the OSUCOM dual degree candidates. Some great research going on.

All Programs:

PCOM
CCOM
MSU-COM
NYCOM
OUCOM
OSUCOM
UMDNJ
UNECOM (pilot program with University of Maine)
TCOM

Another thing to consider is a summer at the NIH or a year off as a howard hughes fellow b/w 2 -3 yrs. It was a great experience for me and there are tons of different areas so you might be able to focus in an area of personal or career interest.

One of the goals of the NIH is to 'train' people...and DC is a really fun town!

Just a thought.

Pay is competitive too.
