Research continues into the application year?

Hi guys..
I have a question. I plan to take a gap year between graduation and med school. I have agreed to my professor's request to continue assisting her research project in this gap year even though i am no longer a student (I guess I will become a RA then..) So when i apply at the end of the senior year, how do I report this on the app?
I understand i should not put anything that has not happened yet on the application..but If I want the schools to know that I will continue on doing research until med school starts, how to I clarify that?
anybody has the same experience? how do you guys think I should resolve that?..a whole year of research experience that I cant put on my app seems a little unfair?..I dont know, what do u think?😕

a lot of schools in their secondaries ask about plans for gap years, so there you can mention what you plan on doing

Anybody else has any ideas? i am trying to see if I can fit it somewhere in my primary...cuz not all secondaries ask this question..😎
