What schools value research experience heavily?
I am specifically wondering about NCSU, TAMU, and UGA, but I would love to see input about any schools?

You could look into Penn! I know that they have a large research department and have a very broad approach in terms of viewing veterinarians as scientists especially including research

LMU. As a LMUCVM student, you can do research at University of Kentucky with highly respectable researchers.
