I'm very interested in doing research in bioprinting but I'm having trouble finding any opportunities? Advice is appreciated

I think I saw a vid on bio printing research from the university of Iowa

On the bioengineering side, most of it is in industry at this point, but there's a good group at Mizzou. On the "using it to make stuff" side, I know of groups at UCSD, HMS and OHSU that have a commercial bioprinter up and running. Wake Forest has a good tissue engineering program. I'm sure there are others but it's kind of a niche market at the moment.
