being a resident in a community program , i want to know
1)what exposure and experience does a resident get in a big university program as against the almost non existent experience in an average comm prog?
2)Is it being able to present papers in conferences or is it that the resident gets to work on papers that r published in peer reviewed journals by the biggies of the field?
3) Do bigger programs have research rotations?
4)Is there the time in busy programs( with rounds in surgical branches beginning as early as 4 or 5 am ) to be actually involved in research?
Please ...some insight would be wonderful.
