I did research through our Dental School for multiple semesters and multiple years but ultimately it was the same two projects on repeat, just compiling a lot of data. I did however present at multiple conferences. I am having a hard time deciding where to put the conferences on my application. The research section seems to be more for the actual projects not the "extras." Advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

Are the conferences in direct connection to the research you did at the Dental School?

Yes. All conferences were due to the research completed at the dental school. I received a research travel grant to present at AADR conference so I was able to sneak that in under the Scholarships and Awards section of the application haha 🙂.

Ask those that you did the research with, they'll know how to categorize it. Personally, I would put it under the research section. Presenting is part of the scientific research process. I sure hope you are applying to that dental school because you seem to have a significant advantage there over all other applying students.
