Hello everyone, i am fairly new here so go little easy on me.
before i post this i checked a few thread related to my question but i cannot find a clear answer and wanted to ask SDN members for intakes on this topic.
i understand research is great part of your application to medical school, however there is no specification on certain field that you can perform your research on. for example a lot of applicant do research on health related fields. my question is although i am biological science major would doing a research on something like Nanotechnology ( in my college it is part of the school of engineering ) would this somehow have negative or positive impact on my application since its not related to my study ( Bio major and Neuroscience minor). especially since i might start the research at the end of my freshmen year. 😍
