as for me, i recently submitted a paper to my undergrad research journal. i'm crossing my fingers!! i know it's only an undergrad journal, but i worked really hard on it! and this journal is pretty selective, so i'll be happy if my paper gets published!!

i now work full-time at a new research lab. so i'm hoping to get the chance to co-author a paper for a science journal.

Generally, when people say "published," they mean a peer-reviewed journal. In other words, something you can find through PubMed, or EBSCO, or whatever.
