Hello, I am currently a Junior going into Senior year and I already shadowed for dentists and hospitals. I have many hours done already. But I am planning to do some unique research. I plan on going to Africa and doing Lion Research there. It's something that always caught my interest. I've loved lions since I was small so you know... anyways, do you think that it will stick it out and will catch attention in my application when applying for Dental Schools?

If it has always caught your interest, do it. It can do nothing but help your application as long as everything else is fine. Interesting applicant>Uninteresting applicant with everything else being equal.

It's in Zimbabwe. Not completely sure yet but it's just normal Lion research.
