I'm a chemistry major and doing biomedical engineering research. I don't think it matters. It might actually help you since some schools love biomedical/biochem based research. It also will show you're willing to do that kind of research for research heavy schools even though it's outside of your field of study. I'm not an adcom though so can't speak for them but I doubt it'll matter.

Whoa dude that is way too much shadowing. Were they all with pediatrician? You want 3-5 specialties in your shadowing.
Yea actually with one pediatrician since I knew him so anytime I get back from school I just go shadow him but thanks I’m definitely gonna shadow another physician over this summer but it’s hard trying to get some shadowing tbh unless you know the person I think.

Ask the pediatrician you've been shadowing if he knows anyone you can contact. I shadowed a doctor for 10 hours over 3 days and then asked him if there was anyone in another department he'd be able to recommend. The doctor I'm going to shadow all of next week I just got his contact info from a friend who shadowed and emailed them. Try doing things like that.

This much time is no longer shadowing in the usual sense of the word.
There are many things one can do to gain a broader experience of life. You appear to have found your comfort zone with this pediatrician, but stretching yourself would be my recommendation.
