Ok, my undergrad does not offer a summer research program. Where are some places that ya'll went or places that you would recommend going to do research? I did a search on google and the schools i found require you to be an undergrad at the institution.

This web site may be helpful to you...this was one of the sites I looked at when I was looking for a summer research experience.

http://www.nsf.gov/home/crssprgm/reu/start.htm

This will at least provide you with a list of schools that have summer research programs that you can apply for and I believe most of them do not require that you are a student at their university.

Hope this helps and good luck! :luck:

If your school doesn't offer a program go to another school. There are losts of programs that offer room and board and a stipend. If you are stuck on your school and room and board is not an issue I am sure there are investigators that would love to have you around for the summer on a voluntary basis. It might not be an official program but it will still serve the purpose of exposure you to basic science research.
