I have this year off and start my CA-1 year next summer....I am thinking of doing some research and wanted to know if any one had success with the NIH or FAER...i am not sure if they offer anesthesia research position to residents (will google that now) but wanted to hear if anyone had any positives or negatives to say about these

You're already in so I would STRONGLY recommend getting a job as a bartender at some shack on the beach in CA or FL and share the rent in some flophouse with some other deadbeats. It could be the best year of your life. You only live once Look overseas as well.👍
