Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone could share any spreadsheets they made when comparing programs. I remember reading about people having a template on here, but I didn't have much luck when trying to search for it. If you have a template that you're willing to share, please PM me 🙂

General template: stipend, staffing hours, number of residents, accreditation status, where previous residents have gone, age of the program, available rotations/electives/PGY-2 specialties, RPD/DOP and their history, any preceptors who share similar research interests, anything else unique about the program that may be relevant, benefits/conference/travel funding, city considerations (public transportation, weather, etc).

To add to the already great list from above, here's what extra I had in my sheet from last year: Beds, # staff, staff/bed ratio, people publishing, people publishing in your area of interest, formal mentorship program, if you have any networking with the program (like have someone you know there is a bonus imo for a variety of reasons), early commit option for pgy2, COL adjusted pay based on locale, teaching requirement, vaca
