Is there some sort of link to see if certain schools qualify for in-state tuition after a year or two or do you have to call them all to find out? I tried googling a few and it seems difficult to find some of the information

Try searching SDN. I know that all Ohio schools do after year 1

It's usually state dependent for requirements for establishing residency for tuition purposes.
