What? Too soon? ERAS is submitted, and I actually got an invite from a DO program this week. I think it's time.

You can submit ERAS any time you want. You just can't assign until after 9/1. But at that point, it's a few mouse clicks and a big hit to your Visa card and you're done.

Yep. I'm applying to both DO and MD programs, but haven't decided if I'm going to be doing both matches or not yet. I'm leaning more towards just the allopathic match right now.

make sure you have an up to date CV... I think I forgot to put a few things in and I'm not sure if I can go back and edit it now. And I'm not sure how to add it haha. Lame.

So is it true that you can't edit/change anything on the CV part of the ERAS application, but you can everything else?

(You'd think they'd have that written somewhere on ERAS but maybe I just couldn't find it.)

Check out page 26 of the myERAS user guide (Google search should pull it up). Basically, once you certify you can't add things like experiences or educational degrees (Oops to me since I realized I didn't put my postbac time on my app since I didn't get a degree before certifying). However, you can change your personal statement, LORs, AOA status, and update your NBME transcript.
