I have been chosen to TA anatomy in the fall, but I do not qualify to get paid for my time (work-study program). This is a big dilema b/c I really need to make some money to offset my expenses of Summer Gross. My question is...how does TAing look on a Residency application and is this an oppurtunty that I should take without pay b/c it looks great on an application? OR is it not really a factor? Thanks

waste of time unless maybe "your love for anatomy" led to Radiology or Surgery or something... just get paid... don't overthink things...

I dont think it is neccesarily a waste of time. This kind of thing does look good. It shows leadership etc. However, you shouldnt do it just to make your application look good. Its a lot of work to TA a class and you'll be miserable if you dont really want to be there.
