Did any of you upper classman radiology residents have lawyers look over your residency contracts before you signed? I actually had a former Vice-PD tell me it wasn't such a bad idea!!😱

Congrats and welcome.

About the contract I don't understand what good it would do to have a lawyer look it over. I mean you can not negotiate in this instance. You either sign it or you do not. They're very simple contracts anyway and fairly general language so it would be possible for the program to make you do more call than you expect but typically these programs don't want to upset their residents (and possibly future work force for hospital) too much so they're usually fair.
