Hello.

I am an IMG and in the past I haven't had much luck in the match. I am trying to figure out where to apply this year.
Has anyone of you used those residency list services? Like Img-interactive.com or matcharesident.com ?
If so, which one of them do you recommend?

Thanks you for your help. 🙂

I think the best way to decide without being biased it to call them all...that applies to any service. Or even request to visit them in their office. There is other services out there too but only few are reliable.

Hope this helps.

Or better yet, request a sample set of programs that you qualify and then call these programs to verify accuracy. This way you know exactly what you are getting.

I agree with Anatolyk but also you can ask to buy the list and guarantee its accuracy or money back. Call the services and see who guarantees you the accuracy or money back. That is even better than getting a sample of few chosen programs. 🙂

Finally I bought 2 lists from Img-interactive. I am browsing the programs that I should apply which appear in green color. After I read the information that Img-interactive post I go into the program website. To my surprise there is a huge difference between img-interactive information and the information posted on the program's website. There are many programs that I shouldn't apply even though Img-interactive advise me to. Really, I don't advise you to use this website. It is a waste of money.

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering using these services myself, but I am neurotic and have gone through each programs website and list of current residents to see for myself. I figured that's the main draw for these list services, so there was no point in me spending the cash.

That's what I did. I looked at Freida and the programs website and made my own list with microsoft excel. Some don't state any requirements like Step scores those places you can call. My scores are average, so I didn't call. I also looked at their resident bios and how many IMGs they have but if I was strongly interested in that program and they didn't have many or none IMGs I still applied to give it a shot. I am regionally bound and applied to 28 programs. So we will see how that went. Good luck!
